“Non-League Day – Away Day”

Trust News
Our fundraising efforts for the "Non-League Day - Away Day" continue, as we aim to make as many places as possible available on the Trust Travel trip to Bromley on October 13th and help fans travel to an away game and get behind Ian Evatt's side. Barrow fans travel further than anyone in non league this season- the average round trip is just under 480 miles and cost can be a barrier to hard pressed families- we aim to make this easier at Bluebirds Trust. It says a lot about the ,management and players at Barrow and our other sponsors, that they support our efforts. We have already raised over £700 so far towards Non League Day Away Travel- Huge thanks to our NLD Sponsors thus far The management and…

Free Family Tickets from the Bluebirds Trust

Trust News
The Bluebirds Trust & Barrow AFC are offering FREE family tickets to our game against Maidenhead later this month! We are delighted to be working with the Barrow AFC again this season, to offer local children and their families the chance to watch the Bluebirds free of charge! Last year, thanks to the dedicated fundraising of the trust, we managed to give over 500 children and adults the opportunity to watch free live football. Attending sporting events is a great way for families to spend time together, whilst supporting their local community club, the first step to converting them into the next generation of Barrow fans. Parents can apply to their children’s school for tickets, which gives free entry to both adults and children for our match against Maidenhead United…

New Manager Appointment – Ian Evatt

Trust News
It’s great to hear from our new manager Ian Evatt that he wants to bring back a better connection between the support and the team. He has a good reputation as a captain and leader, as you can see from the reaction to him from fans of the clubs he played for. We all know that Barrow works best for all when everyone pulls together, like we did to stay up at the end of season. We’ve some of the best fans in non-league but they also need the team to turn up and give 100%. Ian gets this. The Bluebirds Trust has been encouraged to make some suggestions as to how Ian and the team might connect best with fans. It is your football club in your area, so…
